From the minute I walked in the door with my very sick fur baby, the staff at Baxter Veterinary Clinic was welcoming, comforting, and reassuring. My Daria couldn't be saved, but I was allowed the time to say goodbye to her. My husband had to leave on a business trip, but the staff was kind enough to let me use their phone to talk with him and let him know what was going on. I was given time with Daria after the euthanization which I appreciate so very much. When I am ready to get another fur baby I will definitely use Baxter Veterinary Clinic. Thank you Dr. Carroll and Tabitha for being so personable and comforting.

I just recently moved here and heard great things about this Vet hospital, however, I set an appointment and was caught up with work so I called to say I would be a little late. The secretary was very nice BUT the Dr. said she refused to stay past 5:40 and I expressed how important this visit was for my dog but she STILL refused even though they don't close until 6. I would rather take my dog elsewhere where they actually care about his health rather than closing on time. Since it's so last minute he will be suffering this weekend and possibly longer depending on hurricane Irma. Unbelievable.

Nothing the less of absolutely disgusted. My naturalist vet back in Vermont actually confirmed that Baxter Veterinary was making up UTI's, a varying white blood cell count and different things regarding a blood panel which they charged us over one hundred dollars for only to send to my VT vet and be told she is completely fine and didn't need the 3 antibiotics they had been telling us to give her. Her blood work was COMPLETELY HEALTHY. Imagine that! They were also the same vet we filed a complaint with for dragging our 12yo black lab across the clinic floor because her toenails were causing her to slide on their floor. Awful people with no heart just in it for the money. Scam someone that deserves it, not a helpless dog.

I've brought my cat GiGi to Baxter Vet for a year. Dr. Jacob Mauck is a caring vet who takes time to explain diagnostics and treatment, and displays deep compassion. Other vets are courteous and responsive when GiGi is under their care in Dr. Mauck's absence. I recommend Dr. Mauck and Baxter Vet!
